Match Qualification: For a match to count as official, a minimum of seven (7) total games must be played. The player with the most TOTAL games won at the end of the match or when the time limit expires will be declared the winner. The winner is responsible for recording and submitting the score. Players may play the same opponent a maximum of six (6) times per season.
Example:
Player 1 wins the first set 7–6.
Player 2 is leading the second set 5–1 when time runs out.
Total games:
Player 1 = 8 games
Player 2 = 11 games
Player 2 would be declared the winner based on total games won.
Tie Resolution: If both players win an equal number of games, they may either (1) flip a coin to determine the winner, (2) resume the match the following week, or (3) play a tie-breaker. The total number of games from both sessions can be recorded, allowing both players to earn ranking points for each game played across both matches. A tie-break is counted as one game.
Match Ranking Points System
Players earn ranking points as follows:
-
Win the Match: 100 points
-
Win a Set: 30 points per set won
-
Win a Game: 5 points per game won
